Ilene L. Kirk, 94, of Oblong, IL passed away at 7:40 A.M. on Sunday December 25, 2016 at the Magnolia Center at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson, IL.
Ilene was born Crawford County on January 2, 1922 to Ernie and Verna (Ketchum) Lewis. On June 7, 1941 she married Richard (Dick) Kirk who preceded her in death.
Ilene was a farm wife. She loved to crochet and knit. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Ilene is survived by one son Rick and Sharon Kirk of Oblong, IL. and a Daughter-in-law Barbara Kirk, O’Fallan , MO. Ilene had eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Ilene was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard (Dick) Kirk, son Mike Kirk, sister Wilma (Lewis) Marshall and Brother Buster Lewis.
